The RE-EDIT project presented the greatest challenge. Crafting video content demanded prolonged viewer engagement with a single screen, making it arduous to sustain their attention. Seeking solutions, I turned to Wes Anderson's exhibitions for inspiration. His immersive showcases adeptly guided viewers through a meticulously curated flow, drawing from his background as a filmmaker to evoke deep emotional responses.

Inspired to create similarly immersive experiences, I delved into interactive art. I view interactive art as a platform for viewers to engage with and deepen their own reflections physically. In the AUDITORY project, I harnessed the fluid movements of soap bubbles to craft an artwork that enveloped viewers in a sense of immersion.

The project in which I achieved the most growth was the AUDITORY project. Through this work, I tried my hand at sound art for the first time. Previously, I relied mainly on a visual approach and worked mainly with installation pieces. However, through this project, I learned that sound is an important complement to visual objects.

For the AUDITORY project, I exhibited a work that explored the fading memories of my deceased mother. Specifically, it included a soap bubble machine, an ECG, and breath. The fading of memories was expressed through the soap bubbles falling to the floor, and the viewer breaking the soap bubbles themselves.

Feedback from classmates indicated that the sound did not attract attention because the soap bubbles were seen as a strong entertainment element. This feedback made me realize the importance of designing a more precise relationship between objects and sound. In the future, I would like to continue our work while considering objects and sounds not separately but as part of the overall design of the space.

I am interested in exploring installations that evoke a sense of immersion while utilizing materials that convey a sense of "change." One of the artworks I draw inspiration from is Anya Gallaccio's "preserve 'beauty'". While visiting the Tate Modern gallery, I encountered a display featuring numerous gerberas and daisies in a withered state. The presence of real flowers allowed me to imagine their once-vibrant appearance vividly. Despite being a two-dimensional piece, I was deeply moved by the gradual transformation of the flowers over time.

Additionally, I find inspiration in Urs Fischer's "Untitled" series, where sculptures made of candles gradually deteriorate. Unlike "preserve 'beauty'," the candle changes occur rapidly. Observing the process of deterioration within the confines of the museum creates a profound sense of immersion for the viewer.

These artworks serve as powerful reminders of the transient nature of beauty and existence, inspiring me to create installations that provoke contemplation and evoke emotional responses through the interplay of materials and the passage of time.

I aim to provide viewers with an opportunity for reflection through immersive experiences. I create installation works in which I explore the theme of death. Death is the inevitable end of life, yet it is often regarded as taboo. My work allows viewers to contemplate death, helping them grasp the nature of its transience and decay.

In selecting materials, I am drawn to objects that reflect nature's process of decay and renewal, undergoing change over time. I am particularly interested in the ephemeral nature of soap bubbles. In the fleeting moment when a soap bubble disappears, one can sense the ephemeral nature of life. However, designing the viewer's focus on this moment of disappearance proves challenging due to its instantaneous nature. To effectively convey this ephemeral quality, I am continuously researching methods to showcase soap bubbles.

Through my artistic endeavors, I stimulate deep contemplation and introspection in the viewer, urging them to confront the inevitable truth that all things must fade into obscurity.
